The future USS John F. Kennedy (CVN-79) recently completed acceptance sea trials, marking another major step toward joining the U.S. Navy fleet.
In-Mar Systems is proud to have supplied marine equipment aboard the ship.

For a company that has spent more than 45 years supporting the U.S. Navy, Coast Guard, and commercial vessels, it's a milestone worth recognizing.
Part of a Much Bigger Effort
An aircraft carrier is one of the most complex vessels in the world, supported by a huge network of shipbuilders, manufacturers, suppliers, and specialists providing the equipment needed to make it all work.
In-Mar is one of those suppliers, working with shipyards, vessel operators and government customers to provide specialized marine equipment built for demanding environments.
That includes marine wiper and wash systems, firefighting equipment, marine seating, helm chairs, window shades, and other vessel equipment.
We do not build the ships. We help supply some of the equipment that goes aboard them.

Why Sea Trials Matter
Sea trials are where years of design, construction, and installation meet real operating conditions. Systems are tested, equipment is evaluated, and the ship is put through its paces outside the shipyard.
That makes milestones like this especially meaningful for the companies that helped supply the vessel.
As In-Mar President Glynn Grantham said, “Sea trials are where the equipment, systems and workmanship that go into a ship are ultimately put to the test.”
It’s a simple point, but an important one: marine equipment has to work when it matters.
Looking Ahead
The John F. Kennedy is expected to continue testing ahead of planned delivery to the Navy in 2027.
For In-Mar, seeing equipment we supplied aboard the carrier is another reminder of the role specialized suppliers play in the U.S. maritime industrial base. It is also a continuation of what In-Mar has been doing for decades: helping connect shipbuilders and vessel operators with dependable marine equipment for demanding environments.
